Our Accreditation

Learn about our laboratory accreditations and Fields of Accreditation (FOA)

ORELAP Accreditation

Waterlab is accredited by the Oregon Laboratory Accreditation Program (ORELAP). This accreditation demonstrates our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of laboratory practice and quality assurance.

Our laboratory operates under strict quality control protocols, participates in proficiency testing, and undergoes regular audits to ensure accuracy and reliability in all water testing services.

EPA & TNI Standards

We comply with EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) drinking water standards and TNI (The NELAP Institute) requirements. These standards ensure that our testing methods and reporting are consistent with national and international best practices.

Our accreditation under these frameworks guarantees that test results meet regulatory requirements for property sales, municipal compliance, and legal proceedings.

Quality Assurance & Proficiency Testing

To maintain our accreditation, we participate in proficiency testing 2-3 times annually. This involves analyzing samples with known concentrations and comparing our results against established standards to verify accuracy and identify any areas needing improvement.

Our laboratory also undergoes regular on-site audits by accreditation bodies and maintains comprehensive documentation of all testing procedures, calibrations, and quality control measures.
